Attorney General's File A32

Songtong.

Medical Practitioners

542

With regard to: registration of

Medical practitioners in this Colony.

In consequence of no Ordinance having been passed on the subject, there would appear to be nothing to prevent any one who pleases from practising

as a Medical Practitioner.

Under these circumstances the Government have a right, I think, to make such arrangements as will discourage unqualified practitioners, and may properly direct the Harbour Master to refuse to receive in the case
